Perhaps I should clarify: the resemblance of Rei in that picture to the moeblob Ayu from Kanon caused me to pronounce the fan art's "UGUU"-ness with a mocking "UGUUUUUUUU". (I like the kind of kawaisa that one finds in Pokemon, Ghibli productions, and countless other places, but moeblobs are kind of revolting.)

But my point still stands, I (unfairly) made a presumption about you because I believed a person like you couldn't like cute things. I sincerely do feel kinda dickish because I'm not one normally to make such ASSumptions on individuals (let a lone a admin!) on a message board. Bad Rei IV, bad!

Now if she has some permissions from time to time, I get the feeling that Asuka would still wear concealing clothes, like high collared sweaters and long pants.
Mari on the other hand would surely use more fashionable clothes like skirts and shirts, just to play further the contrast between them.
And if someone Rei Q is recruited by WILLE, she'll probably stay in her plugsuit, until Asuka scream at her to put something more appropriate... then she'll wear the WILLE issued jumpsuits!

The best about this pic is the caption on the two part, the one on the upper-left basically says : "how we thought Q will be", and the bottom-right is "how Q actually is".

That pic resume everything we felt when we discovered Q one year ago! Although Asuka and Mari on the "how we thought it would be" part is fairly accurate!

Nice KLK Rei image. Something about having her in that pose with that expression is weirding me out a little, though.
