Serialzation of the manga will resume in October. So, it is confirmed volume 13 won't be the final book.

Edit: Since I made this post, there seems to be news that the official French publisher of the manga has stated that it will end at volume 14. Now I did assume the manga will end at 14, but how would the French publisher be in a position to know?

They say, this october they going to release volume 12 and 13 simultaneous in France ( Yes we still haven't volume 12 yet lol !) and they suggest that the end of 13 give way to volume 14.

Maybe it's just a mistake, glénat isn't a really serious publisher [2 years of waiting without a single word for that volume 12, and it wasn't the first time !]. I don't like them ! They NEVER communicate with us, maybe the person who wrote this was a trainee !

Wouldn't be the first time. I heard some companies are using trainees to do the dirty work. One of them made me classify all the reports from 2011 to 2012. I really wouldn't be surprised if Glénat would ask some poor soul to do the boring job.

I don't exactly follow you, besides the huge delay of volume 12, what's weird about their announcement? Volume 13 is having a worldwide contemporary release, the same announcement has been given here in Italy by Panini and we already know that it was also announced in Argentine, it would make sense that they also release it on October.
About Glénat, I knew about the delay of Petit Eva/Puchi Eva, I'm still waiting for the third volume, but I read that it was because of litigations between the author and the Japanese editor, now that you mentioned that volume 12 was also delayed I'm starting to have some doubts about that explanation though... Anyway, at least their manga are really well done, unlike Panini's cheap ones...

Yes you're right, we know now Glénat has got problems with the Jap editor. But they never answered us when we email / posted a topic on their forum, and for me it's unacceptable ! 'bout Panini manga i don't know (exept Eva and Gunnm I don't read manga so much), but I can tell you their comics are better quality than US comics !

Actually we already know that serialisation on Young Ace will resume on October of this year, volume 14 is going to be released for sure, it's the "last volume" bit which is still bothering me, it is intuitive to think that it's going to be the last one, but I can't find any explicit mention about it in the announcement of Glénat, it merely says:

Ces deux volumes livreront ainsi une avancée colossale dans l’histoire, préfigurant un quatorzième volume savoureux.

Which should be loosely translatable as "these two volumes will build-up the story for a tasty 14th volume".

'bout Panini manga i don't know (exept Eva and Gunnm I don't read manga so much), but I can tell you their comics are better quality than US comics !

I have no experience with American editors so I really can't say much about them, anyway Panini's translations are awful for sure and their paper/format quality is mediocre, e.g. some manga like ISIK don't even have colour pages. I bought the first two Petit Eva issues and they looked really good instead, other Italian editors like Star Comics are also pretty good compared to Panini.

lol I think Asuka seeing Kaji as her transition guide is perfect. As for folks gloating about how that has anything to do with any shipping, I fail to see it. It's perfectly in character, her seeing him well and alive would be very reassuring to her. Besides there's no disputing the legitimate and strong crush she has on him. Folks are being silly.
