Thats a bit odd though, every other Ayanami body (there is a separation between the bodies and their soul) so far has been exactly the same, its a small difference but why does Rei q's body look different?

^ chuck we saw rebuild misatos scar earlier in the movies, she still has it, and its there on the image just the fact that the artist didn't want anything "ugly" on her so it barely visible

EDIT: so typing in Rei q just comes up with some porn artist.........huh.

Rei III in NGE had the characteristic crossed bangs too, it was probably a little nod in Q for the hardcore fans that would pick up immediately on it, and on the same time trick them into believing that this Rei was the same than in 2.0 with her soul transfered (explaining the different personality) while she's actually a completely different person.

lol, that I never noticed, that the bangs are a nod to NGE. I only noticed the X-bang, when somebody here pointed it out. well, how could I look at ReiQ/III, when almost simultaneously, Kaworu was around.
