I just can't see how can't end in anything but a curbstomp on the titans: the Marvel universe don't even need the superheroes, since mankind have helicopters with rockets and high-caliber guns, just aim for the neck and voilà!

Or maybe they'll just get teleported in the middle of New York and the superheros will have to deal with them to prevent them to make a massacre the time for the army to arrive with their artillery, making them useful for once! :tongue:

I really don't think the titans stand a chance against the Avengers. It seems ludicrous to compare the two.

Well the teaser image showed Spiderman, so he at least will be present, which is "logical" since his abilities are the closer to AoT's human soldiers' fighting style, while he doesn't have any power that can one-shot them like Cyclops' eyebeam or Thor's powers.

Plot-twist: the Titans actually gained their regenerative powers by eating Wolverine! :bigeyes:

That's true, El; Spidey's webslinging is remarkably close to the 3D maneuver gear, even down to running out of the substance that makes them work. (Note: In the early comics, Spider-Man was prone to running out of webbing fluid. This isn't the case in the movies.)

Live action cast photos are out with new characters. Like the Hanji shot but they'll have to justify that RPG.

Apparently, after seeing the city landscape in the photos, the article has the theory that the setting was transposed into a modern post-apocalyptic world, explaining the tower buildings in the background and Hanji's RPG.
Also, most of the cast will be original characters, all with Japanese names, hinting that the setting is in Japan instead of wherever place of European inspiration the manga take place.

Now if the setting is indeed a modern post-apocalypse, they'll need to explain why they don't simply use choppers to get rid of the titan. (unless there are flying titans or something like that)

They could have done a prequel instead since it is hinted at that the world of SnK used to be futuristic until the titans came and wrecked shit up.
But no, sadly this is just doing something..........odd, not sure if i like it.
