Reccoa and Emma disagree.

Poor Reccoa. Doing the Asuka thing long before Asuka made it fashionable.

That said Yagatama does have some amazing art. Guy's got talent.

As only the first volume has been released here so far (they're releasing omnibus volumes here so it's in essence Japanese volumes 1 & 2), it hasn't had the chance to become popular. The interesting aspect to this is that there is some potential for the series to become popular, not just to manga fans but people who have a serious interest in food & wine (if I remember right, there have been articles about this series written in publications such as the New York Times and Wine Spectator). It all depends whether there is a concerted effort by the publishers to promote the series to those type of people or not, such as advertising in the above publications.

Thanks cyharding.

BTW, just some reading how this phenomenal manga had significant impact to wine business in France:

Indeed, it might be heresy but I personally prefer them to ReDeath. I acknowledge latter's legacy but I just laughed more at the former. Both are better than that rebornzombie abridged series - I think thats just plain crap.

All the episodes of NGE Abridged are back on youtube under an account by the name of 'keiayanami'.

Nice, never thought I see the day wine and manga mix like this. Makes me wish I had a glass of wine to toast to this. :)
