I just found out that I apparently committed the classic careless error of saving my working draft over the final before submitting it on an assignment about a month ago, so it had lots of silly crap wrong with it that I actually did fix but then overwrote back to screwed up condition. Fan-fucking-tastic.

One day to election. Two days to getting my wisdom teeth removed.

I hope it isn't that bad! I guess I was lucky not having to think about it again from 24 hours after having just one wisdom tooth out, but it might not be as bad as you fear.

Three weeks for recovery? Are you planning to get a severe infection or something? When I had mine removed (three were impacted) my dentist referred me to a good dental surgeon. I was back to solid food the next morning.

I got four removed as well, and I was back to normal in a week. I don't see your point.

Wisdom teeth are not all the same. Depending on how they are situated and if they are impacted it might be significantly more complicated in one case than another, ranging from just making a small cut on the top of the gums and pulling them out to surgical extraction from the jaw around and under teeth intended to be left alone, possibly with jaw cysts, and possibly even having to be approached from the side of the jaw.

I was out during my procedure and the only other witness is no longer alive. I have no idea how mine went other than the aftermath which was just constant bleeding for 24hrs followed by normal-ness.

I'Ve never been put under. So I have no idea what to expect from the anesthesia.

They stick a needle in the back of your hand and the next thing you know, it's all over and you're left feeling dizzy for a few minutes.
