You can't come back from literally murdering the world! You can't! What little narrative consistency the series has left would die if that were the case
For the most part, I agree. The only things I really think I liked about Q were the new EVA designs (though, did Unit 08 really have to be pink?) and Asuka's badass eyepatch. Everything else can go suck it.

I really like this one. Despite my personal feelings about Mari's character It's nice to see a reminder that there's someone left in the Eva-Verse who's hasn't completely fallen inside the black.
