Final bit of speculation before things air: Ragyo + Shinra-Koketsu absorbed Rei (presumably for a power-up), I wonder whether Ryuko + Senketsu will (temporarily) absorb Satsuki for a similar reason...

Would also give Trigger the opportunity to parody Madoka (since they've hit almost everything else) with Ryuko and Satsuki having naked space hugs in the inner Ryuko-verse.

Nah, the Naked Space Hug was a final ship teasing between Homura and Madoka as the latter finally discovered everything Homura did for her and reciprocated her feelings, here it's completely unnecessary since they're sisters and they already have shared feelings of sisterly love.

As to the note about the OLF, perhaps it's possible that the Shinra-Koketsu can act as a surrogate.

Yeah, I can very well picture Ragyo aiming at something like that, because now that I think about it, we still don't know what's exactly her motivations : sure she want to help the Life Fibers to recover the planet and blow it to scatter across the galaxy, but what does she have to gain in it?

Well, well, this was as expected. Plenty of TTGL and Eva references thrown in to boot, and the crazy faces that Nui and Ragyo make in this episode are hilarious.

Saw the RAW version. Poor senketsu burned up - but I didn't get hold of what he said. Had he already been damaged by Shinra-Koketsu when he decided to go down? And why did Ragyo just blow herself up? Need to see the subtitles for that.

But there was one part I needed no subtitles for - the part where Satsuki says "Okaeri" and Ryuko says "Tadaima, nee-san". Sweetest ending possible. (And sweet ED too - Satsuki really looks like Motoko Kusanagi in this one!)

Ragyou failed her mission and ended it herself but she warned Ryuuko that the life fibers will return one day. Ryuuko told her she is not afraid and will fight them.

Senketsu had absorbed too much energy.

Senketsu: Guess your father would be happy now. It was nice to know you.
Ryuuko: Idiot! Don't talk like that!
Senketsu: Don't cry Ryuuko. You will grow out of a sailor uniform one day anyway. You can wear anything you want now. Cuter clothes than me.
Ryuuko: All right then! I will put on dresses that will put you in envy!!

But yes as expected this ending was pretty badass, I still liked Gurren Laganns ending just a little bit more, but this is definitely top tier in my favorite endings just the same.

So ep 24 was basically EoE, end of TGL, Diebuster, DBZ, and kinda Saint Seiya...... I liked it.

THAT. FUCKING. FINALE. I'm sad that Senketsu is gone... but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Actually liked the ending- things going back to normal and all. Also, Gamagoori in a white suit... Thoughts?
