At any rate, Seele themselves -- the ones with the goddam SDSS -- describe the Angels (= Adam's kiddles) as the 'true successors', so they seem to be in essence confirming the bit about Lilith and her offspring being imposters on Earth. If Lilith was -- as you seem to be suggesting, -- MEANT to land on Earth, and the planet was MEANT to be a battleground between rival humans from the beginning, why would they be using this false/true dichotomy?
They didn't need to be on the same planet to end up in a contest of survival*. What ever solar system Lilith was headed to had to be close to ours since she was en-route through ours. Eventually they would have crossed paths. But yeah, you're right these things are as bad as the Spear. The more I think about it the less sense it makes. The SDSS spoke of a contest of survival and said the Angels were the true sucessors, IT MAKES MY HEAD HURT!
