When you start imagining how other shows would be different if certain characters were replaced with characters from NGE. Like if the girls from You're Under Arrest had to work for Gendo (the old dude at the temple could be Fuyutsuki), or if the cast of Azumanga Daioh was replaced with the males from NGE, of if Kei and Yuri from Dirty Pair were instead Asuka and Shinji forced into drag, etc. Hijinks ensue.

No, but if you go to any student group meetings you should assume that pose for the duration of the meeting and see if it intimidates anyone. It was a year after school that I got into NGE, I imagine I would have had a lot of fun with the pose in High School if I had known the show back then.

- When you buy a Eva belt and intend to wear it in school hoping that someone will recognise it so you know someone IRL who actually likes Eva.

How exactly is he a troll again? I hear this a lot, but I don't see much evidence of it in his work. Is there any evidence he did anything in NGE, EOE, 1.xx or 2.xx solely for the lulz?

It probably stems from the myth that EoE was *purely* created as a revenge against those who complained about the ending of the original series.

You can get a loooooot of mileage out of it in that capacity, though. The three-dimensional characters really help.
