"Go die in a fire" was a funny exchange, but the Shinji-Rei boob-touch scene fell flat. Too many of the jokes ran too long and many of them were way too predictable given the material they were working with (but even that would have been forgivable if they had been cut short to have punch). The best thing they could have done would have been to cut the scene even shorter than they did, down to maybe one or two lines, a very simple, quick, funny exchange, and that way the humor of its juxtaposition with what was said right before it would have been preserved as well.

Kensuke is a military otaku who, at one point, is shown creepily taking pictures of girls to sell. He would clearly fit right in as an animator at Studio Gainax. -- Compiling_Autumn
EoTV is a therapist, EoE is a drill instructor. -- Chuckman
Seriously, that is the most fananked theory I've ever heard, more than Mari being Marty McFly travelling through time to keep her parents (Asushin) together. -- Jäeger

That was pretty good. It wasn't as funny as the first one, but it did have its good moments. Particularly Rei's lines, outside of the "Rei's room" scene.

I always thought I might be bad
Now I know that it's true
Because I think you're so good
And I'm nothing like you

Watched them recently. They had some funny parts and awesome moments. I kinda liked the fast paced humor. I think it was needed to make it funny cause their jokes aren't all that good if you pause to think about them but when they're fired right at your face it sort of works.
I liked their Rei parody but in general the humor got a bit old after the first video.
Also, like some of you pointed out, I would be more comfortable if this parody was made by someone who axtually likes Eva. (Like with little kuriboh's Yu Gi Oh abridged, he constantly mocks the show for being so silly/stupid/insane, but you also get the feeling that part of him genuinely loves it.) Still it's all made in good spirit I think.
(Off topic: I can't stand Gigguk's voice or tone or something when he makes reviews. For some reason I just want to punch him in the face. (I mean, I'd never actually punch someone in the face, but the urge is there) It's not what he says; it's how he says it. He has this smug "I bet everyone thinks I'm soo funny"-tone.)

It actually seems like Gigguk has just stopped making content (or I can't be bothered searching for it). Life caught up to him I guess?
