I never thought I would come back to Evangelion after EoE,
But I discovered Re-Take (or it found me?) and
now here I am.

I like how beautifully organized everything is.

My collection is so tiny in comparison ~

About half of my collection has been gifts, such as Der Mond, Platinum collection, Mass Produced Eva Revoltech, the Mari, Rei, and Asuka EVANGELION@SCHOOL R-style figures, some of the Angelic Days manga and NGE volume 12.

My A-14 Zeruel - XX just came in today. I think she's adorable.
I found The Birthday of Rei Ayanami cd at a comic store this weekend for 5 dollars. I think it's one of my best finds so far.

Missing are a sitting Asuka figure (also a gift), Day of Second Impact cd, Neon Genesis Evangelion II soundtrack, and the rest of the original manga series.

Thas not too hard to achive. I ve been at one while 2.22 was in cinemas in Tokyo. Except some for the period limited items, the choice was not
that much but serious pricetags

oh at the beginning i collected several series beside Evangelion that i like for example Sakura Taisen, Ikki Tousen, ...

After some time i concentrated on Evangelion, as there s no series out there offering more merchandise
2-3 years ago i started to get anything from Evangelion that i can lay hand on and afford. I guess i ve approx 20-30% of the stuff available out there and i try to get more :)
But there s so many out there and some real expensive stuff, like the scale 1/1 models.

Still i ve some rarities, offical items that just 20 or 40 are in existance. Also i guess i can count a pachinko slot machine as rare possessing outside of Japan

But back to the question, i started as casual collector, but now i buy anything from the franchise i can get

Well...I don't think anyone here has a chance to top THAT impressive amount of merchandise. Everything looks well ordered and displayed, good work there.

Here's my comparatively small collection.

...Is it bad that my years in the toku fandom has left me immune to shock of collections of that size?

I don't have an up-to-date, complete photo of my entire collection because of a lack of room space, but I do have my entire collection categorized here:

http://myfigurecollection.net/profile/V-Ism

I sold almost all of my non-Ayanami figures.

I also own an Ayanami Rei cardboard cutout, the platinum edition DVD boxset(not the thinpack), various trading cards, a bunch of pencil boards, the Ayanami Raising Project DS game, and a pile of Weiss Schwarz cards(currently building a Rei/Asuka deck).

I've never been into collecting figurines or other stuff, so my "collection" consists only the media itself and two artbooks:

Image

Two copies of series and EoE: Perfect collection + mangle releases of Death + EoE and Platinum collection and DTS Collector's edition Renewal Death^2 + EoE. Finnish version of manga and additionally duplicate of vol 12 in English because I wanted it. For some reason I actually enjoy reading ISIK too, you can just deal with it.

(Now the only missing piece is Rebuild discs... I'll get around to that soon. I promise.)
