Discuss: What would happen if
1) Evangelion's pre-series trauma never happened
2) Everything is normal, including the parents
3) There is no such thing as Angels, Seele, Adam, only Evolution
and
4) The characters immigrate to America EDIT: and open a stereotypical Asian store doing dry cleaning or instant Chinese

Just a thought after listening to Rucka Rucka's Ching Chang Chong.

ah, forgot to add that it won't be a show; just the regular universe with the Eva cast stuck in. Forget the show and entertainment.
Besides, it could be a comedy: Nerv Dry Creaning Serwice and Instant Curry-Ramen Shop

Don't really care about 4) but Ikari Shinji Raising Project (ISIK - Ikari Shinji Ikosei Keikaku) fits 2-4 perfectly, with the exception of Angels (which are never as deadly as in the series anyway).

And I love ISIK.
I never thought I would come back to Evangelion after EoE,
But I discovered Re-Take (or it found me?) and
now here I am.

As opposed to the dudes who like everything to be lolartistic, I'd actually watch this show if it exists. RL can be entertaining, you just have to make it entertaining.

If there comes a conflict in which the "Mad-Cow Disease" decides to outbreak, in which they're the surviving people of the city, I'd watch it. There has to be a physical conflict if you want me to watch. Otherwise, its just another generic anime with psychological frosting on it.

If handled in the same way as the Two Salarymen fics (in which Gendo and Fuyutsuki are overworked employees of an animation studio), a limited series could work.
