Well looks like I'll be starting at work next Monday. Gonna be a weird change. I'll actually have to get up at a reasonable time in the morning now. Cool thing is I only work in the morning, so I get the rest of the day off to do whatever and I get weekends off as well.

Was kinda bummed that all of my classes got canceled this quarter, but maybe that's sort of a good thing since I'll be able to transition into working a bit easier.

I really hope things work out for you, Rose. Good luck!

Got a very important assignment, possibly the biggest one ever in terms of emotional involvement (my brain screamed YES when I got the news in the mail); can't tell much but it's a large desktop publishing project involving a Japanese VIP and it should be ready just in time by the middle of July next year. :)

(BTW, it was in planning for almost a very long time.)

I was looking through my old posts this evening and was filled with a wonderful sense of nostalgia when I found the post where I hit my first thousand. It's really fun being on these forums, and I can't believe that my two-year anniversary is coming up!

And as long as I'm thinking about that old memory, here's a new milestone: I own around 1% of your stuff, Evageeks.

Today for the first time ever one of my colleagues (a new guy, but not young - over 40 I'd guess) recognised my desktop background (one of a rotating set of Eva images) as being from Eva and commented on it, saying that he has the series and films himself. Maybe I'll have someone to talk about it with IRL!

I saw someone at my school walking to class with what looked to be an official Eva 01 bag. Didn't say anything though, because she was far enough that I would of had to yell, which I wasn't going to do because there were several other people around.

I took the LSAT today. Won't know how I did until some time next month, but I have a pretty good feeling about it. :D

Monk having explained that your LSAT is not the satellite of that name that I worked on 30+ years ago, here's an article that's representative of what I've been hearing about law school in the states over the past couple of years.

I'm aware Tines, but I've no intention of going somewhere if I don't have a scholarship (I'm perfectly fine with a top 75~100 school as the article mentions), and while business, contract and criminal lawyers are having a tough time of it right now there are areas that are still growing and I plan to focus in one of those... specifically intellectual properties and copyright law, as that's directly relevant to my graphic design experience.
