I, for one, like to start the new year off right. So, for the third year in a row, I'll be doing a marathon viewing of the entire series Neon Genesis Evangelion.
The first year I did 1-26, Death and Rebirth(first half) into End of Evangelion.
Death and Rebirth *killed* the momentum.
Last year I took suggestions from these forum on how to view. I went with Episode 21 first, then 1-26(Ep. 21 included), and End of Evangelion.
This will probably be my final year for it. So I'm gonna do 1-24, End of Evangelion, and finish on 25, and 26.
Now I know that's hard to top, but just wondering how the rest of you will be spending you New Years?

If you've seen the series, don't even bother with Death and Rebirth, it's just a recap for audiences that hadn't seen the show in a while. Just go straight into EoE.
Anyway, I had been planning on visiting my girlfriend, but an ice storm in her neck of the woods pushed back those plans. Don't really have plans other than that, except maybe writing a little.

In my case, i'm going to both try not to let those bad news i talked about dimmer or ruin the celebrations too much, and will most likely spend it with my family in some manner. I dunno, 2012 was a pretty otaku year for me. I was kind of hoping 2013 would be more normal. Then again some of the plans I have are even more otaku than 2012....
As for tonight, well since I woke up at the bloody lovely time of 4AM I don't know if I'll be awake, but if I am I won't be doing anything special. Probably watch one of the TV streams from New York. But don't worry about me, I wouldn't have it any other way.
