Best wishes to you, Reichu.

Hopefully you'll come back at some point, as I rather miss your fan wanking and that many discussions here simply aren't the same without your input (or theories and certainly not as lively, either).

I already took my leave around 11 months ago but I felt a recent impulse to officially apologize for my ramblings here and to those that I ended up pissing off. I'm not apologizing for being a moron because everyone is a moron to some degree. But I am apologizing for being antagonistic about my beliefs on a forum where they shouldn't belong in the first place. At the time I had few other outlets so now I understand why I did what I did, and of course the reaction is likewise understood. But if the vast majority of a community becomes resentful of your attitude and opinion, then what's the point in sticking around?

I guess I left a legacy of sounding like a lunatic, but that's alright. It was a learning experience and one can start life over as many times as they wish. I've changed a bit in the past year: I no longer watch anime and I only occasionally dabble in video games these days. I haven't watched Evangelion in quite a while, as I feel that non-fictional concepts to life deserve far more attention. I have little impetus to watch Eva 4.0, which tells me that my Evangelion days have come to an end. Thank god for that freedom, really. It no longer tortures my mind like it used to.

Namaste.

See you later, Ironfoot. :handshake:

Not sure if it will make any difference to you, but I think you're wrong about the vast majority of community being resentful towards you because of your past behavior. That certainly wasn't the case with me.

I hope that is the case, but I have adopted an attitude of believing what I see, so at least in your case things were cool. Take care of yourself.

Okay, you have successfully triumphed over Google and I have absolutely no idea what that means, but it sounds nice.

Theoretically, if I were to occasionally visit this place it would only be this forum just to see how you guys are doing since Evangelion is definitely not a major influence in my life like it used to be. We'll see, I might stop by once in a while but I'm definitely gone from visiting the site full time.

It's Sanskrit, just like Namaste.

Namaste means '(I) salute you'.

Namo/Namah = (I) Hail/Salute

Loha/Lauha = Iron

Pada = Foot (Cognate of Latin 'Pedis' or Greek 'Pod') , Padaya (dative case) = (give to the) foot

So "Namo Lohapadaya" means "I salute Ironfoot".

Well, Bags said something about getting two grand on the second one. That would have meant he bet 100$. I'll be a rich man today!

Of course, this assumes that the bets were made against me and my moolah. They seem to have been made against Monk Ed. In that case, he'll be swimming in cash.
