It would seem everyone is enjoying their new custom titles quiet a bit.

Cool idea, bro. I think I'll do this. :)

I was only kidding! I want to be the one to eat Ran's vital organs.
"Now, from Nature we obtain abundant information about ourselves, and precious little about others. About the woman you clasp in your arms, can you say with certainty that she does not feign pleasure? About the woman you mistreat, are you quite sure that from abuse she does not derive some obscure and lascivious satisfaction? Let us confine ourselves to simple evidence: through thoughtfulness, gentleness, concern for the feelings of others we saddle our own pleasure with restrictions, and make this sacrifice to obtain a doubtful result." -The Divine Marquis

I think I changed Jimbo's title at least a couple months back. The "Scribe" custom title didn't seem to have much point anymore, if it ever really did, so I took it off whoever still had it... but Jimbo and I go back far enough that I figured I could leave him with a little something, all the same. Since I'm incredibly uncultured, I didn't know about the Kurosawa film -- interesting coincidence.

Logan was recently wondering what happened with that. Thanks for clarifying!

So, I changed my location because there's a great NGE line that also with my lack of job situation. Whee~

I had a dream I was Kohaku. I ended up drugging and convincing some guy to peel off his face with a pear knife, just like Hannibal. *in a high-pitched girly voice* "Now THAT'S entertainment!"

So yeah, now my avatar is Kohaku. >__>

Well, I quite like it. I'm not sure it captures me in all my glorious essence but, then again, you might make the rest of the forum jealous if you did that. ;)

Finally replaced my Winnie the Pooh quote with a stanza from Robert Burns' Lament for James. Most of the poem is rather cliched and histrionic, but that part may be the best thing the Scottish Bard ever put to verse.

It's original form is this:

I've seen sae monie changefu' years,
On earth I am a stranger grown:
I wander in the ways of men,
Alike unknowing and unknown:
Unheard, unpitied, unreliev'd,
I bear alane my lade o' care;
For silent, low, on beds of dust,
Lie a' that would my sorrows share.

Ranka from the mindblowing Sayonara no Tsubasa. Considering the bittersweet note Macross ended with this screencap suits the film (and my reaction) better than ultragenki mahou shoujo
