So the timer in the corner means the film is 9 rolls of film in total, right?

It was hard to grasp the first time, but I was under the impression that the 5th roll being the 41 minute D-Part meant it was also the final roll.

The D-part goes up until (but doesn't include) the end credits so I don't think there's gonna be an epilogue, unless it's a brief post credit scene like 2.0 but pretty sure it'd be included in the end roll than having its own part.

Roll 5 is supposed to be the D-Part though.

If they aren't trolling with the 41 D-Part tweet, which says it goes up until the credits, then I think this also gives credence to the movie being split into a 3.0 and 1.0 section.

About the film being divided to "3.0" and "+1.0" parts with a mid credit roll separating them, remember that the original plan was to show Q and FINAL as a 2-in-1 "film" like The End of Eva. With Q ended up being a full-length feature on its own it's not impossible for the idea to be applied to Shin, not to mention that Utada seemingly has two new songs for it.

Yup. It's basically my pet theory that this'll be the case. I feel like the movie is definitely gonna be disjointed in some kinda way just based off of the title.

And I seemed to have missed it, but they apparently let it slip last month that Roll 1 is 21 minutes. Even though they labled it as R-2, it probably is just Avant 1 and Avant 2 together, so that means that Avant 2 is probably just about 10 minutes long like Avant 1.
