[MAD SPOILERS] Audio-rip of 3.0
[s:231wxijb]Not sure if anyone has posted this on EGF yet, but I found a complete audio rip of 3.0 loating around for anyone that is interested in/able to pick apart some of the dialogue to whatever ends.
Not a lot of use to me other than getting a glimpse at some of the OST (admittedly in incredibly low quality), but others might be more interested. [/s:231wxijb]
Edit: Well, I obviously haven't had enough coffee today and completely neglected the fact that this forum has rules.
But yeah, like esselfortium and Xard pointed out, the rip is out there for those who want to find it and probably originated from here anyway...

In the first minutes there's something like someone singing in background, is this even a Japanese cinema? It seems that it stopped before the end of the preview scene though.
So let’s make a wish.
“Please let me redo again.”

Disgusting, Nippon will disappear at this pace.
Obviously, the pirate master-race.
EDIT: I'm late here, it looks like it's been already posted and probably commented in some other thread, but it doesn't sound bad at all, the voices are perfectly understandable; so far Misato-kancho makes me laugh more than once while it's fairly easy to notice out how Shinji is being ignored by everyone.
So let’s make a wish.

Kaworu Nagisa wrote:It's not your fault
Kaworu Nagisa wrote:I'm sorry, this is not the happiness that you desired
Or something around those lines, all of this after Shinji fucked up things greatly. Kaworu will survive only when we'll have an Eva universe which isn't completely fucked up, he's too perfect and god-like for this bunch of fools...
So let’s make a wish.

Listening to this & knowing what events transpire in the film I have to say 3.0 sounds remarkably focused. I love the previous two Rebuild films - 2.0 a great deal more than the elaborate re-edit 1.0 is - but both films were a bit all over the place. The biggest cinematic problem with the Rebuild films in my eyes have always been the Angels who work wonders for episodic television but in the films can often be disruptive to the narrative.
3.0 sounds (repeat SOUNDS) like the first half hour is overly busy but then cools down into a solid character drama with no random action scenes or distracting (but awesome) cheerful music to remove viewers from the drama and all leads up to one final battle sequence.
Can't wait to see the film proper.
Also, it's been YEARS since I last watched Nadia but am I correct in thinking that most of the BG music is a lift from The Secret of Blue Water?

For those who were curious, Mari sings this song in Q: You're not alone (Hitori jaa nai no), another song from the 70s.

Guess they gotta have her sing something other than 365 Step March again.

Just got around to listen to it in full.
Ouch. Ouch, just OUCH.
The Music makes it SO, SO much worse. As does Ogata's voice acting. It's like they asked themselves "Just how much depressing piano music can we squeeze into 106 minutes?" First, there's "Ode to Joy", then, BABUM. "God's wrath" and then there's that moment of silence where all the battle sounds stop and all we hear is Shinji and Kaworu, the former being appropiately horrified and guilt-stricken about the whole "accidentaly blew the world up once again" thing... and THEN there's that horrible, horrible SPLOTCH soundeffect.
