About a accurate realistic measuring of the evangelion, i believe the best way to do that is by someone modeling an Eva in 3d and using the Entry plug as reference to the size of the eva. I've made some sketches a time ago using the entry plug as reference and i got somewhere aroung 70~150 meters of size too. Problem is that we don´t know much about the relative size of the entry plug apart from the mechanical parts of the beck of the eva and eva's hand, but is a better reference than just pixel couting relative to a person's hegith (i did something similar before too) with could result in a very oscillate result;.

When i feel like, this month, maybe i'll try doing some 3d eva models in Maya, but i'm not a pro tough, it may end a little.... ugly.

I love eva's 01 design, but i like Eva-02 a little better, to bad Unit 01 will won tough.

Maybe they wanted to but the design wasn't structurally sound. Things that work in anime might not translate well into real-life.

Evangelions are 80 meters. It's not hard to guess why they didn't build the whole thing.

The EVA model LOOKS AWESOME! Plus, beneath the EVA is the LCL liquid (is that it or is it something else? I can't remember.) ...MUST...GO... TO Japan! (if only I had money to afford the trip. )

I thought it looked pretty cool. The paint needs some work in some places but aside from that I love it.

Exactly what I was thinking when I heard about this.

I am somewhat unimpressed by this bust, it might be full size but you don't have the same feeling of aw that you do when you see the full size Gundam. I would like to see them really make a full size Eva, and not just a life size bust.
