Why do you assume you're the only who likes electronic music on this forum?

Silly Austrian, you cannot have sex with electronic music. Don't even try. You'll die.

New Boards of Canada is delicious. Dark and moody, atmospheric, very rhythm-oriented.

Listening to heaps of Bowie lately, I've been a fan for years and his music always remains fresh. He's one of the best lyricist in pop music. Lodger, Earthling and Hunky Dory are my current favorites.

I've been getting a craving for Franz Ferdinand. Slowly but surely, it is being fed.

What are you talking about? This track is incredibly worse than Year Zero. At least it's better than a majority of The Slip, is all I can say.

Anybody scoped out that Palms track yet?
I think I'm going to wait until I hear the whole thing before I pull the trigger on a pre-order.

But it sounds like later-era Isis with Chino on vocals. Which just makes it sound like Deftones.

Year Zero wasn't terribly good to begin with. It had a handful of decent tracks, and most of them followed the exact same structure anyway. Even if this single is less ambitiously noisy than YZ was, it actually sounds good and maintains NIN's pop aesthetic that has dominated his work almost without exception since With Teeth. Ghosts was the only thing he did as NIN since then that carried the more experimental side of NIN forward while also offering a thoroughly interesting and enjoyable listen. Most of YZ by comparison is a hamster with a microphone rattling around in a couple of trashcans.

The disappointment is definitely visible.....

Well I think we'll get a good album this year. I have full confidence ^_^
