I think the consensus is that it's Anno in the tube.

. . . which could still mean anything.

Since there's nothing substantial relating this to Rebuild, I went ahead and merged this thread with the rest of the Animator Expo stuff.

Well, O.K... Lets get back on topic shall we.

What was your favorite short out of this Expo?
I say Ikuto Yamashita's "ICONIC FIELD" (Looks like Yamashita putting his Anima concepts into this short, it's probably better that way than it being tied to Eva.)
followed by "Hammerhead" and "UYCTM"

I predict that most people will say that "UYCTM" was the best. :shifty: (Cuz it great)

Well besides UYCTM, my favorite short...

Rapid Rouge, because of the special 3d animation that made it so it looked like 2d.

That and also because it is also going to be Khara's first series as the ending said in the short. Still waiting for that.

UYCTM didn't really add anything to the story, so I found it hard to give a shit. My favorite was probably Me!Me!Me!, though most of the first season was pretty solid stuff. Not really sold on the rest, apart from Cassette Girl (which I need to rewatch, but suspect will prove to be one of the strongest entries in the expo).

So the live talk with the Cassette Girl staff aired and no new movies were announced at the end.

Seem the only thing left is this:

Maybe we'll finally get footage from inside the studio during the actual creation process? Should be fun, if anyone records it...

I'll probably have it recorded, your best bet TM is to remind me on IRC a few days before it airs, so I can ask someone to schedule it.

^ That's a shame, but frankly I didn't realize anything else was happening with the Expo either.

We can say now, it's done.

Passing on the coolness because men's shirts does nothing for my tiny frame: https://otakumode.com/shop/55d1ca452a0948346b11d199/Japan-Anima-tor-Expo-T-Shirt-12-Evangelion-Another-Impact

Otaku Mode's the official international distributor for Eva Store, so it helps them out too. Yay~

There was an emptiness in my soul these past few days & I gazed at the sky & ponderously questioned....
Why?

And then I realized it was because the Animator Expo is truly over.

Something showing on NHK on the 8th. Behind the scenes documentary?
