It's okay, I guess. The dub version is like I expected not my thing. I prefer the original.

Really like the newer take on the song. It doesn't really betray the old one in any way, but still seems fresh. Even the dubstep version isn't too bad... I would have preferred techno, though.

The first one is okay, but it doesn't really stand up to the original. That flute is a little overbearing and it doesn't sound like it's mixed really well. The dub version is just painful to listen to. It's still cool that she redid the tune though. Nice of her to go back to it.

I agree the dubstep version is alright but the normal version remake isn't too bad at all.

It was really great of Arianne to go back and do these, regardless. Always a nice gesture when people try to give back to the fans IMO.

Both versions are alright. They don't hold up to the original, but like others have said, it's really cool that she went back and remade the songs after all this time.

The teaser website is is really great looking too.

There's a flash application with a list of songs, you can click on a song and there's a tiny ▶ button to start playing.

Yep, both pretty good versions.

The dubstep version I like less. Its more just a slow track with a distorted bass. Dubstep should be more..yknow...dubby. As in dub reggae.

I would be interested to know (or have it pointed out where its been mentioned already) whether Airanne has seen EoE and particularly the KST sequence.

I'm sure Arianne is happy that she'll have 15 minutes of fame and make some money(none of mine though) with these remixes.

I thought that "dubstep" was a joke for teenagers that have very little musical talent and wanted to remix songs, I must be very misinformed. I had no idea it was an actual thing to do now. Exploit what you can while you can, I guess. Well time to bottle up this "I" just a bit more.

On a side note; It seems appropriate to (redo) this song ;)

I can see what you mean with the flute, but I dunno . . . I kinda like it. Might just be a matter of listening to it a few times to see if it grows on me.

The dub version is just painful to listen to. It's still cool that she redid the tune though. Nice of her to go back to it.

While I normally don't care for remixes that stray too far from the beaten path I didn't find this one hard to listen to at all. But I don't know much about dubstep so I can't really comment beyond that.

Reviews aside I'm glad she threw these out there. It's nice to see she's revisiting old material and doing some new stuff with it.

I hated both, couldn't stand listening to them all the way through. That horrible electronic drumbeat, the really poor mixing and audio quality, just not up to scratch for me. I do agree that it was nice of her to revisit the song, but she could have put some more effort in (though, the original was done with professionals, and she doesn't really seem to have the same resources, so maybe I'll cut her some slack (though probably not)).

I am severely unimpressed. These are just bad.

Oh well, the original version of the song is by far the most listened to song on my iPod. Might as well give it another listen ...right now.

Well, now I know what happens when you try to blend industrial rock with the soundtrack from the Mortal Kombat movie.

So I guess its about time, and about fair, that someone gently broach the subject of how Arianne hasn't been able to sequelize Komm Susser Todd the short side of a decade...?

Anyone else wonder if a certain movie coming out this fall may have prompted this new version for its soundtrack?
