You horrible person.

Die Sterne (1.72 MB)
EoE Theatrical Program (592 MB)
Groundwork of Evangelion The Movie 1 [9.02 MB (!!)]

Also, for fun: Prelim, Part #1 [1.07 MB]

May post the rest of the prelim later. Could theoretically do a re-scan of the EoE Program Book version, too. (It's compressed not-so-hot.)

THANK YOU!

4Chan was no help at all last night.

I'll most liekly use the Die Sterne image, since that is the smoothest one. Once again though, thank you!

You insult me.

Whilest I do intend to resize the end result a bit in order to help deal with the resulting flaws, I have no intention of presenting a low resolution image. I myself intend to have a small poster of this made when I am finished.

Also, expect PNG format
:P

That image on the left with all the dead people in LCL (presumably) is used as the back cover of the French DVD release of EoE. The image is in its entirety with absolutely no text over.

I thought you'd like to know.

It's unfortunate that it's also the one missing the most of the picture! I'm not sure what's up with my scanner, but it doesn't cooperate very well with full-color images. Even if I blur the scan to death, there are still artifacts of the dot ... whatever pattern that don't disappear until I shrink it to ~12% size!

I myself intend to have a small poster of this made when I am finished.

Going to edit out some of those unsightly specks?

Yeah, but how does that help an Amerikajin like me? :( Any Furansujin around who can scan it?

Ok, I feel stupid, what unsightly specks are on the final image? I didn't notice any (I'm blind sometimes though) so if you point them out, I'll go back to my photoshop file (135 megs, btw) and fix them.

If anyone can provide me a high resolution clean copy that is less cropped, I will remake it again.

but is the one I made good?

I'd be using a 1 hour photo place to make a 12"x18" print.

Ah, thanks for heads up.

Although you have the files already, I have the poster (in Japanese) which I bought from ebay awhile back, if I new a way to scan the thing I would've helped out :)
Keep up the good work though.

Thanks for the thought, but I'm looking for a high resolution clean version of the image, or rather, not looking, I dunno. Will this new english version suffice?

examining the poster, I can see Misato, Maya, Asuka & a girl in a school uniform (No, not Rei, since I see her in the upper right. I mean the other school girl)

There's Hikari, Ritsuko, Maya, Misato, Asuka, some nerv techies/etc as well as Rei staring at everybody from above the LCL Sea.

I've always loved that image btw. Beautiful.

Now that's a GREAT Poster Tagline!

I would love to see how that would play Stateside.

Father of 2: Ok kids, we've got our tickets for Princess and the Frog.
9 Year old Boy: Before we go in can we look at the movie posters?
Father of 2: Of course. Let's see. Avatar. What do you think?
8 Year old Girl: Bleu cat girls are kewl.
9 Year Old Boy: And it's got explosions. I like that!
Father of 2: Sherlock Holmes. Want to see that?
Both Kids: Looks retarded!
Father of 2: Good job! It's important to have taste at a young age and not go see every overproduced, underwritten massacre of classic characters out there. I'll buy you some ice cream after the movie for being so smart! (little off topic rant there folks)
* Looks at Eva Poster. They all silence. *
9 Year Old Boy: Daddy...I feel kinda bad.
8 Year Old Girl: Where's Mom Daddy?
Father of 2: .....Let's just get inside the theater kids.

That OR GothFags would have it posted on every dorm room wall across the country.
