Recently finished reading a book called All You Need Is Kill - what the film adaptation Edge of Tomorrow (Live. Die. Repeat.) was based off of. Anyway, one of the characters, Rita, just happens to have a red hair, as well as a red mech suit (They're called 'Jackets' in-universe). It's pretty much an extremely bulky exoskeleton. She's nicknamed the Full Metal Bitch by the troops.
So I decided to draw the original Full Metal Bitch in a Jacket of her own:
Pretty much just used the book cover and substituted Asuka in the MC's place. Gave the Jacket a Unit-02 faceplate too. Also used Asuka's plugsuit from 3.0 - the one with the white shoulder pauldrons. No particular reason, just dig the look of it.
Sorry for the crummy/fuzzy quality too, I don't have a scanner. If I can eventually upload a better picture, I will. It's a bit unfinished, lacking shading and whatnot, but it was just meant to be a fun little sketch anyway. I had a whole background planned out, but it didn't happen. Was essentially going to be mutilated MP Eva corpses strewn about in the mud and muck of the battlefield.
May finish this one day. May not.
