two updates! number one, my test pack for kaworu's blend is in the mail, so only a few days til that arrives and gets tested so it can go public.

second, adagio introduced some new packaging for their 6oz tins which lets you add a band of art around the sides to tie a group of teas together. so any 6oz tins ordered now will come in this cute little tin with a fancy title strip and unit 01 on the side there. pretty for display, and then you have a pretty tin to do whatever you want with once you run out of tea!

plus, the art band doubles as a pretty cool header for the tea group on my page on adagio.

kaworu's blend is now public! and yeah i was excited for this one, as vanilla is possibly my favorite flavor ever and i've wanted to try a blend like this for a while now.

Shinji will be next, and luckily i've finally got a blend planned out for him. cut it pretty close but all is well now~

By the way, whoever illustrates your tea sets is an amazing artist.

I haven't tried any of them since i don't live in the U.S./where Tinybro lives and i always assumed they don't make overseas deliveries, but i'm sure it must be delicious tea.

yeah i'm female. i just happen to be a total bro. and tiny.

also, just a note! if anyone was getting ready to buy Rei's tea you might want to wait a bit. my roommate and i had another taste-testing session and we both agreed there was something kinda off about hers, so i think i'll need to adjust her blend some.

assuming this is just a matter of the website as a whole being sold out of the tins, since none of my blends have sold at all for a few weeks now. that being the reason for no Shinji blend yet, unfortunately -- can't do that until i've built up enough points for a certificate to buy and thus test his. sorry guys :<

It's alright.

I lack the funds right now to buy the Asuka and Kaworu blends but hopefully will be able to within the next week or two.

And yes it seems the site is out of tins for everybody right now. Hopefully they return soon! I would rather like a tin of Asuka's blend.

I am going to buy all 4 (eventually 5), but I'm waiting for the tins to come back.

Would you it help you if I bought the pouches for now? (I drink tea daily at work, so I will need a steady supply - if they are good :P)

well, i won't dissuade anyone from buying :'D obviously i'm a bit biased but there are a few reviews in this thread and i think at least one of them was reviewed by someone else on the actual website? (by the way guys, if you've tried any of it then you should totally review it! both so i can get better at this stuff, so others can decide whether or not to try it, and because writing reviews will also give you points towards gift certificates for yourselves)

aaaand "sold out" on this website just means that whichever warehouse you'd be ordering from is currently out of one of the ingredients in that blend. that's usually fixed fairly quickly!
