Note the QR Signum (QR シグナム, at one point earlier refered to as 謎のパーツ　Myster/Enigma Parts?) sticking out of the chest. Same stuff that when infecting 0.0 Eva and Eva EURO II caused them to attack Shinji.

EDIT: probably Rei isn't amused because there's no one translating Anima or maybe because we don't learn to read Moon-runes; just kidding.

Yeah, that's definitely "sōdoparetto" - maybe "sword - pallet" as in "pallet rifle"?

Beneath it is something read as "kesara/besara" - I'm assuming that's supposed to be some kind of double meaning thing, since the furigana it uses are katakana, and expressing sounds that clearly aren't Japanese-native.

The bottom line, below the "AF", is "eiirudosupuritta," which I have no idea how to parse - it might be some sort of abbreviation or something. "Eiiru" suggests "air" to me...

For the 浸食型ＡＦ可変収束式 Google gives "Erosion-type AF variable convergence equation" so that's another clue towards more tools for raping right through AT Fields.



As far as the 袈娑羅 (ケサラ) / 婆娑羅(バサラ)　I have absolutely no clue.

The 娑羅 in both is Sal tree which has plenty of religious meaning to abuse. The different kanji in front, one is related to some monk clothing, the other to old women. Google doesn't really give any reasonable translation for them from Japanese. From Chinese however you get something like whirling which seems to match the equipment a bit.

On a silly note if you take the Kesara/Basara part and run both through traydict you get this

ケサランパサラン　ケサランパサラン　kesaranpasaran (n) flock from a vine-seed weed, used for face powder, and believed to promote desire and happiness

with Pa instead of Ba and N added to the end of each.

and this

テンサラバサラ　テンサラバサラ　tensarabasara (n) flock from a vine-seed weed, used for face powder, and believed to promote desire and happiness

same meaning, different way of writing it. What this all means I have no clue.

Either way this is all just half assed googling and etc.

Why does crap like Ikari raising project get translated and not this?

I actually liked the ikari raising project, but this sounds much better. I would try to trow it into a google translator but im sure there would be mistakes.
