I'm still not convinced on the beast mode unit-02 myself. I'm not a huge fan of the disjointedness of it, It just doesn't feel like an accurate depiction of the movie version. The blood pieces and the AT field it's chomping on looks pretty good, but the "slashes" are pretty heinous imo lol. But I'll have to wait until I get my hands on my own before I can judge!

And hooray for another revoltech eva to join the ranks of a pallet rifle-less box! Unit-03 and 05's were the only ones up to now!

I got a Revoltech Unit 01 that doesn't come with a Pallet Rifle. The Harpies don't come with one eighter, I think (don't own them but haven't seen one in any pictures of the figures). Their Rei figures don't have one eighter (they have the Longinus Spear instead), but their Asuka does have one, for some reason.

I dont think any of us can tell if its accurate, judging from that crap quality camp-rip. You should a couple of months until the dvd/BD releases to say if it looks legit or not.

Finally some one who agrees with me!!
The double jointed shoulders look out of place and disjointed. I hate that is only comes with one set of hands, on visible ugly joints (not even revoltech joints!). The entryplug cover on back armor is elongated and mis proportioned. I think its ugly both as a avid toy collector and an Eva fan...

Saying that, I have a pre-order in already....

The difference between the 1.0 and 2.0 unit-01s are an entire new mold. Better articulation, and different accessories. The 1.0 release uses the series style of evas just with a movie version paint job. the 2.0 release has the slender more athletic evas from the rebuild movies.

The Yashima set should work with unit-00, but the rifle locks into place with unit-01s shoulder pylons, and as they were re-designed in the 2.0 release the butt stock would fit quite perfectly. whether or no this makes the rifle incompatible, I'm not sure of.

So far there hasn't been any news on the release of a unit-04.

Well actually they did release a Miniature Revoltech version of Unit 04. This was used to promote the Rebuild Pachinko casino game. This Unit 04 looked just like the new Rebuild Evas. Still not a big fan. Probably wont get it, due to the figure being half the size of the normal ones....

Oh cool I didn't know that! My plan is just to order another unit-03, but out the old airbrush and repaint it myself.

As you can see in the folowing page there IS a Rebuild ver. Unit-04, however it is just the previous one painted different, they didn't even bothered in changing the lower front plate to have it move like the first Eva 01 & 00 from Rebuild (No. 32 and 33)
And... IT'S F%&#ING EXPENSIVE!

Not sure if any of us outside of Japan will get any of these sweet looking things. It was one of those draws that you spent so much yen at the participating store, where they let you draw a ticket. Then hope with all of your being you get the ticket that lets you choose the merch you want out of the category(Type D,E, etc.) its in. Banpresto/Sega always finds a way to one up Kaiyado with harder get merchandise...

-REALLY wanted the Petite Eva tumbler, and the Eva U-03 figure myself(although the tumbler might show up on Ebay if I'm lucky.)
