I doubt it. They'd have to shift around a lot of major plot points to be able to fit that into the already-crammed 2.0 runtime. Besides, cramming it into 2.0 would imply that Asuka experiences mind-rape beforehand, since Rei may have been spared had Asuka been able to act quicker.

Nah, that would be a bit to quick. Mindrapes and tentacle rapes are left for 3.0, i guess (that is, if the story even plays out these parts in the same manner as the series).

What a third trailer could use besides some shots of Zeruel is a bit more Mari. And a decent shot of Eva.06 (please?).

Beautiful World came out around one-two months before the film's release and the Angel of Doom trailer was released after the film had hit cinemas.

That said, there will probably be a new promo video around the time of the single release.

I don't have access to my computer at the moment, so I can't check, but... I think there were only two actual trailers for 1.0. I can't remember whether or not the Beautiful World video that was on "Hikki's" site (what an awful nickname) was the same as the second trailer.

In any case, a third trailer for 2.0 is kind of obvious, considering Eva Extra and theme song promotion and all.

Since you brought it up, I will say that when I was reading the manga a little while ago, Kaworu's flip in Unit 02 reminded me of that short clip from the second trailer.

Flip morphology is different in all aspects (takeoff, aerial, and landing). Setting is different. It's just Eva-02 flipping both times, no big deal. So what do you see?

The main thing that caught my eye is how ridiculous the movement of the wire cable is. Watch the far end move a dozen meters or so (perhaps much more, perhaps less, depending on how big Unit 02 is at the moment) in under half a second in the last few frames.

Valid point. Most likely I expect 2.0 to just be a fun geek filled romp for Eva fans like us to really enjoy for a good 90-100 minutes.

The plot itself seems so loaded with events, characters, and battle scenes that I don't expect it to be a particularly deep or emotional experience (like NGE) with many possibly great character moments and observations being hardly touched on so we can get to the next big battle sequence.

But it is true, Eva 2.0 does look like a big barrel of COOL

I get a bad feeling about possible character death in this new line of movies. As of rebuild 2:0, the plot could go anywhere and I wouldnt put it passed Anno to kill off any of the main characters except Shinji, Gendo and Misato. I've only just thought about it really. Anything could happen but I have a bad feeling none the less.

Would we have got a leak by now if a major character was going to die? With all things that are popular, things like that tend to get leaked.
