Ok after seeing the spoiler, I am a bit pissed off that

Why Mari? Misato fits the perfect couple for Shinji, she and him had far much much more interactions. Shinji views her like a mother and a friend. She could give him both the care and the understanding he needs. Mari had none of those.

No relationship has been confirmed. Best I can glean from the ending is that Mari simply goes to the same destination as Shinji.

Likewise Kensuke/Asuka. It could easily be that they are simply friends who've lived close to each other for so along neither are much fazed by him walking on her in the nip. Familiar =/= bumping uglies.

Also going back to the booklet screenshots - page 16.0 with the the pic of Asuka looking shocked, that kid again (who is older than Touji's daughter so it's not her) and what appears to be a giant version of Asuka's toy doll from 2.0 talking to an actual doll-sized doll in what appears to be a pre-2nd impact Europe in the winter. The blue hell is going on there? Flashback? Dream sequence?

Details are a bit fuzzy, but there’s something about an Eva Infinity, an “Imaginary Eva” who MAYBE looks like a black Lilith, and something about a True Evangelion that’s a fusion of a bunch of other EVAs (this one could just be Infinity, though)

I'm okay with Mari. I don't feel attachment to the tenets of Old Eva. Fanboys talk like Old Eva traditions should be set in stone.

Yeah. The kind of relationship isn't established.
