Fucked Up -- Year of the Tiger

Fifteen minute long songs on repeat are the best...this song doesn't quit.
I used to work in a factory and I was really happy because I could daydream all day -- I.C.
And thanks to EVA, I've started like myself and that has made me very happy. Mr. Anno, please keep working on EVA a lot more.
and thank you so much for everything!!

Dead or Alive - You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)

I absolutely adore 80s synth pop and this is a prime of example of how fantastic of a genre it is.

I think I've listened to "Polar Bear" by Neon Bunny like 20 times today. It's such an amazingly beautiful, melancholy song. The lyrics are beautifully heartbreaking, too, if you understand Korean.

I've been spinning Janelle Monae's new album Electric Lady non stop the past two days. I LOVE THIS ALBUM. The album flows so smoothly that I just keep it in a loop. It's giving me happy vibes :D
Maybe if you shut up and stop over analyzing everything you just might get it........

I love her. She's got a soulful tone to her singing and I LOVE her style. She's not the average r&b singer who's constantly talking about sex. It peeps it's head out but doesn't control every song.

I plan on seeing her next month. Hopefully it actually happens. I've missed 3 concerts this year for other artist so I'm going to try my best to make this one.

Great fucking album, indeed. Janelle is actually on performing SNL right now as I type this.

Madonna - What It Feels like for a Girl

Really touching song, needed this song today. A beautiful blend of trip hop, electronica and pure pop melodies.

The BG music in those Viagra commercials - Smokestack Lightning by Howlin Wolf.

Never would have heard of either one normally and the song is considered a blues classic.

Darren Sylvester -- Dream Or Something Like That

Just found this guy and I'm pretty excited about it. This song reminds me a lot of some of the more uptempo Joy Division songs like "Transmission" or "Disorder."(dudes singing definitely isn't as good as Ian Curtis' though)

Videos a little weird, but it looks nice...love the line about lighting the girl's cigarette.
