The 1.11 editions have been remastered, but other than that, do they have anything new added to them? I know the blu-ray is 720P/1080P. Did 1.11 have anything removed from the 1.01 release? Thanks!

It's unfinished, Reichu needs to look into the other screenshots, but that's the list:

For what it's worth, those CGI Eva-01 images used in the Funimation promotional/poster/DVD cover images for 1.0 IS apparently by one of the Japanese Kara staff. But yeah, they could have picked a better image despite that.

And here I was about to ask if it would be weird to get both even though I don't have a BluRay player yet... EM, you rock. :D

If that official, if so it's not too bad of a cover but I was hoping for a better cover though.

While it's pretty well known among the anime community, Evangelion isn't exactly mainstream in America. Now, if you're a company trying to sell this film that you've already sold before in a slightly different form, are you really going to sell it in a box that's completely blank except for the title, not even giving any indication that it's Blu-ray? Of course not; you're going to sell it with a photorealistically rendered CG image on the cover.

I would go for something...I dunno...more haunting or awe-inspiring

the covers for both the 1.01 & 1.11 US releases aren't exactly the direction I would go to make buyers have the need to buy the DVDs

I like FUNi's cover. It also reminded of a CGI Unit-01 commercial I saw on youtube that I can't find at all at the moment.

I do like the original Japanese cover a lot more mostly because I like Rei and I'm a Shinji/Rei shipper.

I dont know..... Me personally, i find the funimation cover to be just passable. Its nice to know that its official art done by Khara and not just some fan art thing that Funi used.

Still i dont like it that much. Would have much preferred some original 2D art for the cover done by Khara.
