I'm gonna try to hold out for a DVD release or something. Hell I haven't even seen 1.0 yet. Not really having internet for the forseeable future should help me avoid spoilers.

I'm sure I could read spoilers and still enjoy the movies just fine, but for some reason I want a pristine viewing. I already know something terrible happens to Asuka but I don't know what and I don't want to find out.

I found something that might help someone else bide time for 2.0...

FWIW, I've never bothered downloading any recent revisions of 1.0 after getting my hands on the first DVD-quality 1.01 subs available. I recently took the time to view (and download :headbash:

) a 1080p encode of 1.11. I could actually see with full detail, the scenes that were once too dark and compressed to make out and the extra scenes were an interesting accent. It was like watching a new film, kinda.

If anyone out there is like me and hasn't viewed 1.0 since early releases, do it. It will help you endure waiting for 2.0. Of course if you have ANYTHING but a really good high-speed internet connection...and you try to download THORA's 1080p version...Well, lets say 2.0 will probably have Blu-Ray subs in 10 languages by the time your DL finishes.

Oh and also, count me in for the spoiler-free-club. Just be CAREFUL when browsing sites like AniDB! I may have seen too much! >_<

I have absolutely no desire to watch the camrip until some subs come out. It's kind of pointless if you haven't been spoilered to death.

Very refreshing to see there are some of us left! :thumbsup:

I don't always assume the worst, but I damn well prepare for it.

My coping mechanisms:
-Watching the original series in different languages
-Not surfing the Rebuild subforum
-Looking forward to 1.0 (and the dub I guess too) in theaters
-Working on my fanfic
-Sipping this bottle of jagermeister

Also I know in my soul Rebuild wont be better than the original series, so that makes the wait less rough.
