How much did you pay for it? I'm just curious what they are going for.

I don't own it, but I would caution you that I've seen a number of what I can only assume to be bootleg copies for sale.

Why do I say they are bootlegged? Because I doubt you can get a real one for five bucks including shipping!

as i've said before, there's currently one for sale on amazon.co.uk for £130 = $240

it's rare and people take advantage of that. carl horn was supposed to be getting me one with his ........connections, but he's not been on in months...

LOL! Thanks Seventh. I posted this before I found the Amazone.de site that I told you about.

I paid roughly the same although shipping for me was a bit more.

I was shocked how large the books were. They are awesome.

I bought Die Sterne from this site about two years ago. That same site is notorious for selling bootleg merchandise, however said bootlegs pretty much only entail audio CDs. I also paid $45 for it, and it is legit. The problem is that the site seems to be some kind of disposal for overstocked anime merchanise, so it's common for them to smiply run out of whatever's popular, with no reliable prospects of restocking.

Right now, it seems you can get Die Sterne and Der Mond at amazon.co.jp for around $31.00 each. Of course, shipping will be a bitch that will probably level out the playing field.

Got my copy of Der Mond whilst on holiday in France this summer... 22 Euros! I had no idea that I got it for such a good price... I live in the UK, so it was breathtaking to see an actual piece of Eva merchandise in the shop, let alone Der Mond! They also had the soundtrack, but I didn't have enough money.

Hmmm.... 22 euros...

Let's see, that's R154.00 on my side of the world, which is enough for a botlle and a half of Tennessi's finest or half a gramm.... which ever tickles your fancy.. 8)
