Interesting...... This art would make a great anime wall scroll for any Eva Fan. Its too bad that anime dealers and merchandise suppliers won't issue or make one for a few years..... bleh.

Does anyone know why Unit-00 is orange and gray instead of blue. I went to the wiki but it didn't answer anything.

It started orange and gray in 1.0. In Rebuild, they didn't repaint it after the 6th Angel.

In real-world decisions, it's probably because they were introducing more mechas (Eva-05, Eva-06, Eva-Pi, etc.), so they might have decided it would be better for Eva-06 to have the blue color scheme and to leave Eva-00 alone.

Actually one of those old Newtype articles say that Eva-00 was originally going to be that color in the series but they didn't get to do such for...whatever reason, which is why they made it the way it was in Rebuild.
