No, the perspective is simply odd. It must have just been drawn wrong. She is a background character after all. Perhaps she was left like that because they thought that the audience would be more preoccupied with watching Shikinami and Hikari, not analysing the students in the background.

Misato's face(s) when Kaji is Leaving On A Jet Plane in Ep 8. Misato's been snarling at him for the whole ep, then suddenly she's delighted to see him, then what seems to me a 'OMG, I am so hot for him right now' face, then a pissed off at him leaving face.

Funny because so suddenly out of character.

Oh and speaking of Zeruel, 0:02 to 0:08 here - most might be focused on 1) Mari's pre ass-kicking speech and 2) Mari's magnificently pert behind but notice Zerry is all waving and going 'nyah nyah, you can't hit me little baby Eva'

That part is funny to me for a very specific thing: the honk that sounds off when Eva-01 kicks the elevator button. It cracks me up every time I watch that scene!

I think I had the same feeling when Ramiel breached The Geofront in 1.0 and the Alarm went off. A whole bunch of buildings just crashed into HQ, and they expect the Alarm to be the one the notifies them that something is wrong?

Ever since someone posted that they found the strings and start of the music "I, Shinji", in Ep1, way overwrought and melodramatic i couldn't avoid giggling a bit at that scene.

The dub in general is also pretty hilarious to me.

1st Episode, Shinji stands by the telephone booths looks up and suddenly an angel strolls in. I laugh every time.

Episode 16 - What is supposed to be a dramatic scene is marred slightly as it appears that Misato slaps Ritsuko's lipstick off.

Look for the close-up when Misato asks 'whats so special' about Unit 1.
