Hikari kicking butt in an Eva, no, I doubt we'll get back on topic as well.

Well, there are only a few images of Hikari as pilot (and most of them have been posted in the thread (or this one). The only other one I can recall is one where her plug-suit has been reduced to just the yoke and gloves (and is teal rather than gold).

Of course, if we take a broader interpretation of the title, and consider pictures where she could do with just a little encouragement to action, and not discussion, there's always this one

At this point I am reminded of one of the books (Sore Wo Nasumono) referred to in the back of vol 8 of the manga, the description of which mentioned:

"...the series conclud[ing] with a gigantic human female emerging from underneath the Eva armour, and Rei holding a pistol sideways like Chow Yun-Fat."

I see what you mean. You are right, I'd normally rate hers as being the least attractive female eyes on the show, but not here. I think it's the fact that she has 'smiling eyes' in this picture.
