from what i can see I'm guessing its just a calendar? the November date on the bottom kinda gives me hope that 2.0 will come out then too

well im in the us, will the eva store ship here?

and does anyone have hopes for a november release date for 2.0 if thats when this calendar becomes available?

By George! I think we are on to something! A piece of merchandise that is for the movie is coming out in November, so why not they start selling it along with 2.0's release. That's marketing for you. Must keep tabs of this.

It's nice to finally see the first piece of marketing for Evangelion 2.0 kick off- that's a sign that the movie will come out sometime before the end of history.

But as for a November release? Wouldn't all that stuff on the page just mean the release of the calender? As in Evangelion New Movie 2009 Calender goes on sale in November.

Though on the bright side is hopefully this calender would be savvy enough to highlight the official release date of Evangelion 2.0 on it.

So very, very awesome an image. I hope the cover image shows something somehow related to the actual film.

If the images within the calendar itself are 3/5 that awesome, it's a definite must-have.

YESASIA has it for preorder. Release date of around November 1, 2008 (hence the supposed "Release Date" of November...Eva 2.0 is now a 2009 release)

and it costs $22.11

Now the question I ask is- based on the grammar and use of plurals in the previous posts it looks like people have seen the other images from this calender online, if so where can I find them.

And if this calender came with the image on one page and the dates on another, I might just have to buy it for 2009.

Hm, judging from the calendar, I'd say that Tokyo-3's destruction is going to be moved up quite a bit. Rei will probably self-destruct Unit 05 towards the end of 2.0 (Unit 00 having been irrevocably damaged at the end of the last film). And Mari Ikari will be the auxiliary pilot of Unit 01.

judging by the fact that the scene that shows her has the cross explosions of zuriel they will probably introduce her at the very end and she'll have no real part in this but will be important in 3/4

and as for her origin, i wouldnt put it past anno to put in another person's clone, maybe asukas mom? but if it is a sequel maybe she is Shinji/asukas daughter(she does have yui's hair color maybe Shinji has a recessive trait?)
