I don't think there has been any official news of any licensor at this point. Just chill out people.
It's not even in the theaters yet. You're going to have to wait until around Dec./Jan. before you see this on R2 DVD.

No, I know. What I meant by soon was a couple months. In the US its's usually around 4 months depending on the movie to go from theater to dvd. I'd actually be very happy with a R2 release in January.

That's the same place I went to and clicked on the first link in the navbar (did I mention flash sites fail?). It takes me to here: http://freemv.b-ch.com/default/tgterr.asx which is an XML-ish file that includes stuff like title and author and a link to the video file. The first thing that made me suspicious was the filename "tgterr.asx", sounds like an error page.

I tried using a proxy in Japan, got the same file and the same flash frontpage that lead me to that same asx file. Tried using a User-Agent to make their webserver think I was running windows or using windows media player, still no dice. So it looks like they video isn't ready yet but they've put in a placeholder in the flash site.

It looks like the embeded flash takes you to http://freemv.b-ch.com/view/eva/tr_01.html but right now there's a 302 (Moved Temporarily) to the tgterr.asx file.
