Perusing a bit on the internet, I saw very much the same thing posted in some other sites, with a few variations on the above.
The wiki article claims that those lyrics are actually culled from a European mythology translated into some modern-day language (relevant portion is as follows; sorry if there is no English translation):
この曲を手がけた大月俊倫は、作詞家と作曲家をあえて一度も会わせずに制作させており、作詞を担当した及川眠子は本編内容をほぼ全く知らない状態で作詞している。ちなみに、一番 - 二番の間のコーラスの歌詞は「ファリア セタ（又はセバ）メッソ ファリア トゥスェ」で、まだ解読されていないヨーロッパ地方の神話を現在の言語をもとにコーラスにした。故に、この意味は未だ不明である。
The article also says that as of now, what the words mean are still unclear. SOMEBODY FANWANK THIS!!!
