I was thinking about translating some spanish subs that I found (not sure if they are the same) and posted in the 3.33 fansub thread. But you did it. Awesome! This was necessary, for the english speaking public and...everyone. English is the international language. Will enough people see the subs this way?

Not sure what to make of it, the topic has 195 views jet only a few responses, maybe there were already fansubs of the God Warrior feature in English and I'm unaware of them? The Spanish subs I found don't seem to have been translated from English (or if they were it was a good translation) although the movie itself seems to have been translated from an early version of the English github fansub (indo-hashamas and all )

Some English subs were published at the very end of May. I can't recall the source (looked in the file: it says [EGF], but that's presumably just for the 3.33 part, using the old Github version); anyway, here they are on my server:

Hm, there are still people on tumblr complaining because they think the short has no subs. I could post a link to this thread in tumblr. That should help. I will send it to someone that has much followers, the mayority of them Eva fans. I liked this short, it should be seen by everyone! Well, the official BD/DVD will probably have subs for this too.

I found the source; it was in this forum. See this post and the few following. The last in the thread (on the next page) points at another translation that was used to update the subs.
