*squints* So that's actually the menu from the Renewal edition? It looks just like what I have (2007 JPN box release) but I wasn't quite sure whether it was the same thing since the menus of the movie discs state Renewal of Evangelion proudly and bodly while those with the episodes....

I'm not sure if this is the right section to ask, but... has anybody ever seen a translation for the cut descriptions we see in the episode selection menu of Renewal ( an example here )? They're separate from the script for each episode and, obviously, Platinum doesn't have anyth...

Long story short, Renewal/Platinum doesn't have the real OAs for 21 and 22. You have to buy an earlier release to see those OAs with their original footage intact. But most of the original footage is so ugly, only the diehards would want to see it. So the Perfect Collection has the original foo...
