First movie and SAC are essential
Innocence is an acquired taste (I like it)
The original manga is optional but overall a fun read
Skip Man-Machine Interface like it's a picture of Camille Paglia nude and spread eagle

Bubblegum Crisis, the original OVA, is one of the many OVAs released in Japan in their glory decade of the 1980s.
This show isn't innovative: it isn't "original", or "groundbreaking". It is episodic as hell, and lacks a well defined story. But it is awesome. As simple as that.

Currently watching Gall Force too: what a fun f*cking ride. And as always, Sonoda delivers. He's now second-favorite character designer, with only Mikimoto besting him.
moonwolf2024 wrote:Gall Force is awesome. Its one of my all time favorites. Excellent story and animation. When I first saw the Eternal Story I didn't realize there were about six more after that. Just a tip...the earth arc and new era are a little boring. Stop at Rhea Force. Its nice to watch just to see the ending but nothing exciting
