Well, let's see. When you tang, you see the person that you wanted to be the closest with during your life. If we're strictly sticking to IRL, then this person would be, at my time of typing this, my friend Samantha. We've known each other since we were both five, and have somehow miraculously managed to stay in the same area with each other. Sadly, she's moving away. Even though we were in the same area for so long, we never really hung out enough. In that regard, she's the one who's coming to collect me for the tang.
If we open up the vault to 2D, then it definitely boils down to either Rei or Asuka. Actually, thinking about it, definitely Asuka. Thinking about all the crap she went through in the TV series, it honestly sometimes does make me wish that I had been there to be of some help. So that's the reason behind Asuka.

Undoubtedly mine would be a particular fleeting romance from my college days. Nobody before or since has left a mark on me quite like that mischievous little firebrand did. Unfortunately a combination of me paying attention to the wrong thing at the wrong time and her unresolved family/childhood traumas brought it all crashing down far too soon.
She was WAY out of my league though, so it was probably only a matter of time regardless. ;)

Well, I've had crushes on several people but I don't think there's a particular one person who I really want to see before I tang. That is to say I'm not sure if there is one person who I love as much as Maya loves Ritsuko or Hyuuga loves Misato. So I'll probably end up with a Rei hoarde like Aoba.
