About the 3 Reis issue:

Eh, I don't exactly like it but I can live with it like it is. My idol didn't complain when she had to face the eva series with nothing else but backup power and a progress knife and I'll be damned if I don't live up to that standard. I do, however, find the situation irritating. I'm also rather disinterested in having Shikinami added, mainly because then I'd want ReShinji there too. And at that point, questions start to rise about manga versions of the characters... let's just not go there?

In the possible event that Reis are consolidated into one entry on the list, however, I think the "fair" way to do it would be NOT to take an average or sum of her current score but rather consider all of their votes counting towards the single Rei. Basically slashing 100 points away from two of them and adding those results to the remaining one. From the game mechanic perspective, having all three Reis take the consequences of any vote towards one of them would equal selecting the maximum of their scores as "Rei". To make it fair would mean it should be applied retroactively to all their votes so far... which would equal doing what I just described and having three Reis with the exact same number of points. Which would be kinda pointless, no?

Actually, now that I'm on the case; I propose we do this: One Rei, who gets all their votes so far counted towards her. If she wins, there can be a Bonus Round to settle it between Rei I, II and III.

EDIT: Or if the Rei fans are hell-bent on having three instances of her here, another solution would be to cut 65 points off of all of their scores; that would equalize their starting HP to a total of 105 which I can chalk up to the rounding error.

Trust me, I'm nothing if not fully convinced that in the end, when the dust settles, Asuka will be the one left standing (just like in EoE) but it's just a matter of voicing something that I, and several others like you, see an unfair advantage; your two options seem like a good idea, but in the end, I understand if the OP doesn't want to change them; we started the game already, a change should have been made in the beginning.

If people still feel dissatisfied with it, we can always leave this game and create a new one taking into account diverging opinions by majority vote.

Anyway, my vote: Give Asuka a strawberry-flavored lollipop, and give Rei 2 a brand new N2 bomb.
