Screencapped from preview. Note 1, either the explosion is lighting the red sea, or the sea is physically turning red. Note 2, rainbow above cross. Further note, is it me or is the epicentre of the explosion out to sea and not inland?

There are the cross and the rainbow we can also see on these screens.
That had become an integral part of the new concept.

What's interesting, shock wave's reflection on a surface of ocean...
Nature of this phenomenon may be related to the appearance of a rainbow and its spectra.

I think that's just a reflection on the ocean.

It looks like a continental mass and the atmosphere above it turning red. The oceans, you can see, are already red in color.

Just FYI, the storyboards for the preview mention "Nevada" in this very cut (though I'm not sure what the whole sentence means, because I suck), so I real-ly doubt they're lying about the Eva-04 thing.

The Ocean is on the right part of the picture, so I don't understand where the big deal is.
