It would be a money maker as it gives people something more upon purchase and yes it does give Anno to add in bits that got cut, who knows a 5 min extension of the scene could fill a lot of gaps.

Yeah. I went back to the audio transcript and she says something like "Princess, be well". Honestly, it looks like an amazing scene.

Kaji brigs an alternative hapiness to Kaworu , beacuse the Hapiness of Kaworu is make happy Shinji but thats why they trapped on that loop

Glad to see I'm not the only person obsessed with that whole sequence. The animation on Ritsuko's hand is so smooth and real it always draws me in whenever I re-watch it lol.

I love anything in the Rebuilds that are similar to the "simulations" in and of the interface in that scene.
And watching the Avant again, I have to say its definitely an improvement from 3.0. Almost undetectable, i'll be excited too see what else the movie offers (im not going to watch any currently available camrips).
Obviously there have been moments where the 3D was a little strange, but the good outweight the bad. There are so many parts that use 3D in Rebuild and most of them look great. The 3D definitely allows them to do more or to fully flesh out their ideas, which seems like they utilized since the beginning.
Also, where did you read that they switched from Maya to Blender? Unless I read that wrong. Thats an interesting tidbit.

We now have most of the resolution and aftermath in fragments. One scene conspicuously missing, though, is the one where Shinji is shown hitting the iron after coming back to normalville -- just look at that neck and shoulders (and ignore the Anno ears).
