Aww this morning at the Mass I saw so many babies like I haven't seen in a long time! :') Best Christmas morning EVER. :crush:

I still draw the artworks, though, and I have some fragments of the old fanfic here.

For me, Christmas has no extra value anymore. There is a little twinge of that "Christmas feeling" sorta every now and then, but the kind of thrill I had around it when I was even as late as a high school teenager is gone. But shed no tears for me: The reason it's gone is because now, it's effectively Christmas for me the whole year round, because now whenever I want stuff I can go out and buy it myself. I used to get Stuff I Wanted (toys, video games, or do I repeat myself) on Christmas and my birthday. Now? I get that stuff whenever I want!

Ignore that guy. The real value of Christmas is giving. That's what makes it fun.

The real value is to eat, drink and be merry, because though the days are short, and the nights are long, the evenings are starting to open out once again.

Looked out my window this morning and what do you know? Snow! It was a white Christmas, despite the fact that we've got almost no snow at all this year. I would have preferred it bigger and sooner but beggars can't be choosers, and this is better than nothing.

I admit that despite what i thought at first, i did end up infected with the christmas spirit as well. I had some fun in our family dinner despite some frustration with my family, and it was really a lot of fun hanging around the forums and celebrating/wishing merry christmas with everyone. Like CJD said it certainly was an unique time, pretty different from the rest of the year.

I haven't been this happy in a long time.

So, thank you, and once again, Merry Christmas ^_^

The time has come again...

The University of Oxford has an official video Christmas card this year, made in the Ashmolean Museum. Enjoy!

Now all I can imagine is Anno in a Santa suit carrying a sack that has '4.0' stamped on it.

But yeah, Happy Holidays and all that.

I hope everyone enjoys their respective Christmases however you celebrate them.

This year is very different - my last surviving grandmother passed on the 14th and her funeral was last Friday, so I was largely out last week. Sad as it was, she had health issues towards the end of her 92 years and is now at peace. My grandfather passed on Valentine's Day 3 years ago so the dates are no coincidence.

Gonna do some variation of Wigilia* (probably just fish for the dinner) since it's my first Christmas Eve and Christmas with my boyfriend's family. I'm a little nervous it'll be more people over than normal (50 instead of the usual 20-30) but I'm looking forward to having fun with everybody. ^_^

QFT.

I also want to give EGF users a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year as well and a message for the Christmas Cakes not to fret. There's plenty of folks who love delicious treats like Christmas Cakes.

Would Santa Anno really be that good to us? He could be the Grinch and make us wait even more...

I'm waiting on the first three movies until Final comes out.
