I liked the covers of 1.01 and 1.11; they were classy. I hope they don't do anything like have a picture of a scantily clad Rei or Asuka on the cover of 2.22 or future releases.

Though, I don't see why they would stray from the whole Eva Unit theme that Funimation heavily used to publicize their U.S. rights ownership. Using anything else wouldn't be as readily recognizable in their string of merchandising.

the cover looks boring when seen online, but in person, the shiny is awe-inspiring
