Moments in Evangelion that made you angry

Were there any moments in Evangelion (tv and movie) that made you feel really angry?

Here are mine:

Shinji never getting his revenge on NERV (ep. 19)

The ending of EoE.

The coldness of Gendo.

Shinji in EoE - he needed a good hiding, to help him buck his ideas up.

Shinji in ep#18 - not lifting a finger to try and help Touji.

Shinji in ep#4 - being lippy to Misato during the debriefing

Kaji's death - It didn't have as much as an impact as the manga version did. I think if they combined the events in the anime with the death in the manga, it'd be okay.

Jet Alone - That whole episode annoys me for some reason.

Same here. I really hate that episode.

As for what annoyed me... well... I supose that scene where Ritsuko tells Misato that she hates her mother in episode 12. Even after seeing the entire series, I still don't like that scene.

I also got angry during the scene when Ritsuko is about to kill Gendo but Casper stops her. And when Ritsuko says, "Mother! You rather have your own daughter die than your lover?" That made me pretty angry.

Shinji's general attidtude in the first half of EoE. As the Tinesinator said, he just needed a good slap.

Okay, what pissed me off the most was definatly Gendo starting up the dummy plug in Ambivilance(right episode, I hope. I only remember names). I know, I know, I guess he had a somewhat logical reason, but it just seemed like he got nervous because of his own credibility or something.
The fact that Shinji didn't react didn't annoy me much - It still is his father, like it or not, and in more ways then one, gendo's choice is final. Wether he wants to or not, he has to respect his disicion. Filial piety and all that crap, ne?

Then, after that, I guess when Shinji tells Rei, "When you squeezed the cloth, it reminded me of a mother." Maybe it wasn't anger, but shock at the stupidity of the comment. All I was thinking was, "WAY TO GO, SOCIAL SKILLS!" Geez, that was so effing stupid.

Humm, I cant think of anymore...but I know I got mad a lot...

Naturally, beating some sense to Shinji came in mind more than once throught the series. I certainly would find it a bit embarassing if someone told me that I was gonna be a great dad in the age of 14.

The whole Eva 3 event made no sense in general. "Dammit, blow it's leg of or something", I scream, but no, they just sit around in bushes gasping while the thing rips them all to pieces.
It's funny though. Everyone always just ends up in the hospital when they're in their Evas, no matter how bad they are mangled.

All we can positively say is that it seems that they are the only two people who have so far returned in the Tokyo-3 area.

The important thing is that the two of them are important characters to the story.

When Kom Susser Tod started playing and all the screwed up children's drawings appear. It made me angry and sad for some reason.

Why do you think this? It was a compliment. Plus it was one of the few rare moments Rei shows emotion in it. (Hint the blush after Shinji's compliment) I like that scene, well, simply because I'm a huge Shinji/Rei fan.

Here are a few more moments I hate:

Asuka in ep. 16 (Sickness, Unto Death And.../Splitting Of The Breast)

Gendo in ep. 19 when he says to Shinji: "Running away again? You disappoint me."
As soon as he said that, I thought "You fucking prick!!!"

I don't really remember being angered by anything in Evangelion. For the most part, I remember constantly thinking, Damn, I like this show.

Misato kissing Shinji - NOT THAT KIND OF LOVE BITCH !

Gendo's sobby im sorry to yui in EOE - BASTARD YOU TREATED MY SONG LIKE CRAP FOR TEN YEARS! YOU LOVED ME WHY AGAIN SOMTHING ABOUT MAKING YOU FEEL LOVED AND NOT ALONE ANOYMORE?

The last scene " How disgusting " (inseter your favorate translation here sub fans) - I know that fat asian bastard though to himself " one more mind fuck for the road" as he wrote that ending, or improved it or whatever.

On the flip side I smile every time I see Rei turn on gendo. Good girl turn of your basterd creator good girl.

What made me angry?

The fact that Anno just to ensure that the viewer would have pity of Asuka, in EOE, he literally tortured her, just after she was prollific for finding that her "mother" was in Unit 02.
The fact that Rei was like this during 3/4 of the show: -_-
And Shinji was the human equivalent of Marvin from The Hitchicker´s guide to the Galaxy.

Hey, on the topic of Rei, can anyone comment on Rei's stance (like at the end of episode 12, at the ramen place)?

When you consider Rei's personality it just seems bizarre that Rei has that casual posture.
